Outlook Express 6 Email Setup

Start Outlook Express

Cancel if you get asked to setup a new account.

LEFT Click on 'Tools' then 'Accounts'

Internet Accounts

Click on 'Add' then 'Mail'

In the Display Name, put in first name only, this is the name presented in front of the
email address when someone reads emails from you.

Click on 'Next'

Add your email address.

Click on 'Next'

Incoming mail server is POP3

Add the incoming and outgoing mail server - adris.tsis.com.au

Click on 'Next'

Put in your FULL email address and password

Click on 'Next'

Incoming mail settings are now complete. You will be able to pick up email now.

Click on 'Finish'

2 More settings to be made -

1 - Identify the account locally (your pc/laptop)

2 - The mail server security requires outbound mail sender to be authenticated.

To set outbound security, click on the 'Properties' Button for adris.tsis.com.au.

On the 'General' Tab, change the Mail Account line (currently adris.tsis.com.au) to
something more familiar to you. This is only to identify the account locally.

Change 'adris.tsis.com.au' to 'your-first-name - TSIS'
(use your name instead of 'your-first-name')

Click on the 'Servers' tab next to the current 'General' tab.

Put a tick into the 'Outgoing Mail Server' Section that says
'My Server Requires Authentification'

Click on 'Apply' then OK

Click on 'Close'

Congratulations! you are now ready to send and receive E-Mails.
